A Look Back: 2017

It’s been a while since I’ve blogged (like a long while). I often think about it, but have been short on time. Back in August I started a new job as a dog trainer, which has been so amazing. My schedule is more flexible and I love what I do. If you follow me on instagram, you’ve seen the most recent addition to the Shirey family, our sweet (but wild) Blitz:

Blitz came home in September and since then, things have been pretty inconsistent with Estella. She got a good vacation while Blitz was requiring a huge amount of my attention in the early potty-training stages. But life is settling into a groove and I am thoroughly enjoying all of the fun new things I am trying with Blitz, along with balancing time for Estella. You can see more of Blitz’s outrageous cuteness on instagram: @blitzthegsp

Trying something new: bird dog training!

This year seems like a whirlwind; it’s hard to believe where we started and where we ended up. A new house, bringing Estella home, a new horse, getting married, a new job, and a new puppy. It’s clear that 2017 will forever be one of my most favorite years. As fun and crazy and exciting as it’s been, I’m looking forward to the new year and being able to enjoy all of the exciting changes from 2017. With, of course, another big change or two ;).
